About Matthew

Matthew Lane is a dedicated real estate professional with MJ Lane Realty Group, powered by Real Broker LLC. He is committed to helping buyers, sellers, and Families make confident real estate decisions with clear communication, honesty, and dependable guidance.

Matthew grew up in Western Maine in the town of Strong and is a proud graduate of Mount Abram High School. As a proud Mainer, he has a deep appreciation for the communities, values, and lifestyle that make Maine such a special place to live and call home.

After 21 years of service in the U.S. Army, Matthew chose to settle and grow roots in Southern Maine. His connection to the area is personal, as his grandparents lived in South Berwick, Maine. That Family connection, along with his pride in being a Mainer, helped guide his decision to build his next chapter here.

Matthew’s Army career shaped the way he advocates for his clients today. More than two decades of military service taught him the importance of preparation, accountability, clear communication, and staying committed to the mission. In real estate, that mission is protecting his clients’ interests, helping them understand their options, and guiding them through each decision with confidence.

Matthew brings a calm, practical, and client-focused approach to every transaction. Whether helping clients search for the right home, prepare a property for sale, or navigate negotiations, inspections, and closing, he works to make sure they feel informed, supported, and represented every step of the way.

As part of MJ Lane Realty Group, Matthew values relationships, community, and service. He takes pride in supporting clients through one of the most important financial and personal decisions they will make, while providing the professionalism, attention to detail, and steady advocacy they deserve.

When working with Matthew, clients can expect patience, responsiveness, loyalty, and a strong commitment to their goals from the first conversation to the closing table.
